- Tuning: Originally built as 14 course instrument, now strung as 12-course
instrument. The tuning scheme I use is modified from the Robinson 14 course
tuning GG AA BB-Flat C F/G d f b g d' e' (where c=middle "c")
- Stringing: Steel (courses 1-2) Brass(courses 3-12)
- Stringing Tension: 3.5-4 Kg
- Construction: Built-up (simulated carved cittern), with 6-piece back with
integral neck/neck block. 2-piece sides joined at widest point.
- Woods: Hard Maple (neck, pegboxes), Curly Hard Maple (back, sides), Boxwood
(pegs, comb), Pearwood (bridge, fingerboard, fingerboard wedges), Englemann
Spruce soundboard, Pearwood and Vegetable Parchment rosette, Rosewood
(columns), Macassar Ebony (strap buttons, side joint inlay, top
half-binding, nut inlay), Ebony/Maple/Ebony purfling
